Hi, I’m Rex Alexander – 

In the early 2000s, I launched my second business with just a few employees, growing to a team of 20 within a year.

It was exhilarating but challenging — I had to master the art of people management fast.

I quickly discovered that effective leadership means more than just overseeing; it involves supporting, developing, and engaging your team.

While I had a foundation in these skills, there were gaps that I learned to bridge through hard work and hands-on experience.

Transitioning from ‘business-owner to ‘people-leader’ wasn't easy.

Recruiting the right people isn't just about filling a position; it's about finding someone who truly fits the role.

Retention was another challenge, ensuring key staff stay with us rather than moving to competitors.

Despite some setbacks, I focused on building strong, lasting relationships with every team member.

I work with businesses globally and around Australia to help them recruit well and engage their people, so they can retain top talent.

Through coaching I found my passion and true purpose and started this business to help people like you to find business and career fulfilment and happiness. I believe everyone can overcome barriers to success – sometimes they just need a little help.

That’s why I became a certified coach.

As an astute operational leader, with 20+ years of experience developing and leading successful teams, I coach professionals from various sectors to increase their confidence, clarity and decision-making skills.

I began my working life in the Royal Australian Navy, exploring the world and learning about people and places very different to my own. I took my learning from the Navy, as well as formal university qualifications, into the business world, successfully working in a variety of leadership roles across private enterprise, not-for-profit and government sectors. 

Across every sector I have drawn on my sense of humour, my confidence in leadership and my desire to develop others in my team. This has brought me, and the teams I have led, great success.
